Uno Rig
 
Certainly not the final name for this character, but this is a rig i am developing as a side project along with Peder Kallin (who is to be doing the modelling). The image you currently see is that of a mocup model.
Nowadays i dont get much chance to really sit and spend a great deal of time on personal work, and this was the first xsi rig i have done since I had to make the jump to maya due to a new job. For the most part this is a standard cartoon character which stretchy arm's and legs, squashable and stretchable body etc etc. There are a few extra quirks to him though, as you may have noticed (i would be worried if you didnt) he only has one eye, and a neck which resembles that of an elephants trunk.
This was/is a lot of fun to play with, as not only should the neck be able to move around as expected but the neck also shrinks into his body, leaving only his eyeball visible. Though path constrained deformer objects were a fast a reliable solution for this.
The rig itself is near to completion, exactly what we plan on using it for is still somewhat of a mystery, but it was a fun creation either way.
 
If you are a keen animator and would consider doing some animation testing on this character when its done then drop me a line. Its very near to completion, but i have no set date for exactly when it will be ready for testing.
